Notes: The is the first image with the William Optics F110 APO. The image appears to capture more of the disk than we saw in the M31 taken with the 80mm. We could make the image more dramatic by pushing the color saturation and contrast, but that would produce a grainier image and a magenta core. We see some red flare around the bright stars in the lower right, but in general we do not see the blue rings that we saw with the doublet lens. This image suffers a lot from the haze produced by the American Fire in Placer County. It appears to give it a reddish color and the image is less bright than it should be with two hours of exposure.
