Distance: 2000 ly
App. Magnitude: 11.6
App. Dimensions: 0.9' (cf. telescope field of view 119')

Notes: The main point of this image was to test the tracking of the CGEM after maintenance. The rich star field around NGC 2346 provides enough stars to test all locations on the frame. The mount was tracking well. NGC 2346 does appear in the image, but you have to work to see it in the upper right quadrant not far from the center. It's worth while to use the keyboard to zoom in. Zoom in/out with ⌘↑(+/-) (Mac), ctrl (+/-) (PC).
